WALT use linking words to show cause and effect

Your WALT for writing this week is to use linking words to show cause and effect in your explanations: Since, As, When, So, As a result, Consequently, Therefore

Here are some examples:

The cause - an event, action or reason 
The effect - the result or outcome

Staplers are very important since many schools and offices use paper for learning and work.

When you squeeze the handles, the pointy blades meet each other and cross very slow.
