Writing a speech conclusion

WALT Write an impression-leaving conclusion

SC: Restate your main point
SC: Use personal pronouns: I, my, we, our, you
SC: End with a call to question, a call to action, or a quote

Example one:
So the next time you find yourself trudging around the field or playground on two legs. Remember that you could be riding on two wheels instead, feeling the wind in your hair and steering yourself out of boredom. Now if only we could ride scooters at school?

Example two:
Now you should see why the school was wrong to ban us from riding our scooters. Listen to me and you won’t go wrong. Riding scooters will make you fitter, smarter and happier. Remember my words and tell the school to let us ride our scooters!

Example three:
Now imagine a school where students could only play outside by running around. You would think it’s dull and a waste of the wide open spaces. Now imagine a school where everyone is encouraged to ride bikes or scooters with their mates. You would think it’s greatest school ever! Bringing back scooters will benefit everyone - us and the adults. Remember everybody, “life is a journey so let’s enjoy the ride”.
